Aside from the title photographer I am a wife & mother raised in Philadelphia. I am currently living in the Upstate Area of SC (Greenville). My family is quite large and we love it this way. I have one amazing daughter in college and 2 full of life little girls who haven't started school yet. My blended family wouldn't be complete without my husband and two wonderful stepsons as well as my beautiful step daughter who is also in college. If you lost count that is 6 children total. I currently work a 9-5 as well as run my senior photography business while building my Creative Coaching & Content Development Business.

My Story

Jean B. Photography provides a custom photography experience for every client. Your session will be creative and fun and will showcase your unique personality and style. I love capturing candid moments and do my best to keep the shoot from feeling too posed and stiff. Natural smiles, emotions is the overall feel and the goal at every shoot.

I have loved photography since I was a kid. Seeing all of the photo albums that my grandmother kept and the tons of pictures she had on her mantel. I was surrounded by it at an early age. Photography started for me as a way to capture moments with family and friends. No matter the occasion I always had a camera in hand, ready for the candid shots that told our story. I was even given then name “Paparazzi” among my friends, turns out that was a wonderful thing.

In 2015 my oldest daughter had made it to her senior year of high school. Over the summer she took her portraits as assigned by the school.  We got the pictures back and she hated them. I was told not to order any and that she didn't even want to select one for the yearbook. Being the mom I am I tried to find a solution because she refused to retake them. She asked me if I could retake them for her. Without hesitation I said, "Of Course." We had so much fun and captured some great shots. She left the shoot with more confidence and super excited about sharing her images with everyone. That was my "AHA" moment. My passion realized and my niche defined. These are some images from then. I can't believe how much I have grown as a photographer. This is still one of my faviorite shoots. Not because of the quality of the images but because of that smile on her face.
