Wednesday Words of Gratitude: Family & Moments
This weekend was a really relaxed one for me. The main focus was quality time with my husband, kids and family. Where I live currently the majority of my close family is on my husbands side. My parents, siblings and most cousins live too far for me to visit often. I miss them a lot! However, I am more than blessed to have my husbands family in my life. They have accepted me as their sister, cousin, niece & daughter and for that I can say I am truly thankful.
Family goes beyond the connections in your DNA. Some people have close friends that they consider family. This week I am taking time to reflect on how grateful I am for the family I have and am apart of. Not everyone can say that they love their in-laws. So glad I can!
My weekly gratitude post are meant to be reflective but they don't always need a lot of words. So I will leave you with a quote I love.
" Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment
until it becomes a memory."
I hope you enjoy these moments I captured with my family from the weekend. Remember to take time daily or weekly to reflect on the things you are grateful for. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. So make sure that you let the ones you love, know how you feel.
Please like, comment & share. I challenge you to take a moment to post a picture of your family on FB / IG or Twitter. Write one thing today that you are grateful for. Or simply tell them you love you. Please tag me if you do I love to see candid moments of happiness.
Until Next Time, PEACE PEACE!
